Our Policies
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both our clients and our team. By booking an appointment at Salon Root FX BG, you agree to the following Terms of Service, which outline our booking, payment, refund, and service policies. These help us maintain the highest level of care and consistency in everything we do.
Booking Policy
By scheduling an appointment, you agree to abide by all outlined policies, including our cancellation, payment, and right to refuse service policies. Appointments may require a non-refundable retainer fee equal to 20% of the scheduled service. This fee is applied to your appointment total. In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours or a no-show, this fee will be forfeited and a new retainer will be required to rebook.
Payment Policy
Payment is due upon completion of your service unless otherwise outlined in a signed service agreement (such as for Hair Recovery Service packages). We accept cash and major credit/debit cards. Hair Recovery Service Payment Plans: - Available in 6-month packages - Paid monthly on an agreed-upon date - Packages must be renewed manually; they do not auto-renew - Full terms and details are outlined in your Hair Recovery agreement documents
Reschedule & Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment. We understand that emergencies happen, and will offer flexibility when possible—but we reserve the right to enforce this policy to protect our team's time and income. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may result in the loss of your retainer fee. A new retainer fee must be paid before rebooking future services. No-call/no-shows who fail to respond to our communication within 24 hours will no longer be permitted to book appointments at Salon Root FX BG.
Refund Policy
If you’re not fully satisfied with your service, we encourage you to reach out to us within 7 days of your appointment so we can make it right. Adjustments must be completed by the original stylist at no additional cost. If you request a different stylist for the adjustment, regular service rates will apply. Outside of adjustments within the 7-day window, we do not offer refunds.
Right to Refuse Service
We prioritize the health and safety of every guest and team member. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if: There is evidence of lice, open wounds, contagious illness, or infections A client exhibits aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behavior Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a respectful, wellness-focused salon space.
